Find the strap drop that lands where you want it
Strap drop is the distance from the top of your shoulder to the top of the bag, not the length of the strap itself. It is the number that decides whether a bag tucks under your arm or swings at your hip. 21 of our 30 colourways carry a printed drop, running from 6.25 to 24 inches.
How to measure yourself in one minute
Take a bag you already wear at the right height and hang it on the shoulder you use.
Measure straight down from the top of your shoulder to the top edge of that bag. That number is your drop.
Pick the band above that contains it, then narrow by width. An adjustable strap covers more than one band, so it will turn up in both.
What each band means
| Drop | Where it sits | Bags |
|---|---|---|
| 0 to 12 inches | Under the arm | 13 |
| 12 to 18 inches | On the shoulder | 13 |
| 18 inches and up | Across the body | 18 |
The three numbers add up to more than 21 because an adjustable strap honestly reaches every band its range crosses.
The longest straps in the range
If you already know you want it across the body, these are the bags with the most strap to give.
